Magellan SpaceMouse gives you the ability to manipulate 3D objects on the
screen, while simultaneously controlling 3D camera angles and positions for
viewing those objects. This 3D motion controller has adjustable sensitivity,
nine programmable buttons, and is perfectly suited for object manipulation with
up to six degrees of freedom and with all the functionalities of a dialbox. A

The PCI-FE-TX-MK provides a second 10/100Base-T port for SGI® Origin® 200,
Silicon Graphics® Octane® and Silicon Graphics Octane2. It is a one-port card
that autonegotiates between Fast Ethernet and Ethernet. The card also provides
half and full duplex and autonegotiates between the two. The port supports
Category 5 unshielded twisted pair (UTP) wiring via an RJ45 connector. In
addition to providing the additional Fast Ethernet port, the card also has one
mouse and keyboard port.

Gigabit Ethernet adapter is the latest addition to the family of

bandwidth, the SGI Gigabit Ethernet adapter provides up to 10 times the
bandwidth of Fast Ethernet while minimizing network overhead on the host system.

differential signaling only. Each port supports 40Mb per second transfer rates
and can handle up to 6,000 I/Os per second, depending on system configuration
and I/O transfer size. Cables are included with the kit. The device end is a
68-pin, female, high-density connector. The card is backward compatible with
SCSI 1 and SCSI 2 to protect your current investment in older SCSI devices.

Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) card cage for Octane or Octane2 is an
optional unit that contains three PCI-64 slots (two full height and one
half-height) for either PCI-32 or PCI-64 cards. This card cage is inserted into
the back of the Octane or Octane2 system and is available as an option on any
Octane configuration. SGI ships and supports a number of networking, storage,
and I/O cards that have been qualified in the Octane and Octane2 systems. There
are also several third-party developers with solutions for the PCI slots in the
cardcage.

Four-Port Fast Ethernet (100Base-T) XIO Adapter with Six Asynchronous
(460KB/sec) Serial Ports

This four-port Fast Ethernet card occupies one XIO slot in Octane2. It
autonegotiates between Fast Ethernet (100Base-TX) and Ethernet (10Base-T) and
can deliver wire-speed performance of 95MB per second in ttcp tests. The card
also provides half and full duplex and autonegotiates between the two modes. It
supports Category 5 unshielded twisted pair (UTP) wiring via the RJ45 connector.
In addition to the four Fast Ethernet ports, it also has six asynchronous serial
ports (460KB per second). The card is compatible with systems using IRIX 6.4 and
above.
Two-Port XIO Fibre Channel Card

The two-port Fibre Channel card for Octane2 has two channels of 1Gb Fibre
channel. Each channel can sustain 100Mb per second. The product comes with two
10-meter cables with DB9 connector types. It occupies one XIO slot in Octane or
Octane2 and can be combined with the Fibre Channel Vault to provide up to 160MB
per second throughput to a total of 144GB!
Dual-Port Ultra3 SCSI LVD/SE PCI Controller

The dual-port Ultra3 SCSI LVD/SE PCI controller is a 66-MHz PCI card with two
Ultra 160 SCSI ports that "self-sense" between LVD and single-ended
mode. Each controller has one 68-pin internal wide connector and two 68-pin
external VHDCI connectors. The card employs a three-processor design with one
RISC engine and two SCSI executive processors. The controller has 128 KB of
static RAM and is capable of data transfer rates of up to 160 MB/sec per
channel. The SCSI data width is 8-bit narrow, 16-bit wide, LVD, which supports
multimode (single-ended and LVD) SCSI transceivers. The card is compatible with
Fast, Ultra, Ultra2, and Ultra3 and uses active, software-controlled
termination.
